Social media populations are always more similar than different and variations in behavior between platforms is dictated by structure and volume more than anything

Everything has to have a CW because there's no other way to ignore upsetting content. It's like tumblr with ages in bio all over again

@DashWallkick its a platform full of people who insist they have no agency and it's your responsibility to make sure nothing untoward crosses their timeline

Which up to a point I agree with, the tools here make it easy to hide/warn ppl about genuinely upsetting content, but folks expand the definition of 'upsetting' to a laughable degree

This is already a thing that happens on every social media site, where people try to make power plays over others and dominate via victim language and crying the loudest, but here it's utterly rampant and runs the risk of ranking the whole instance. It's not great.
