Anthony Michael Morena@savranly Search is pretty bad, I think it will only turn up an exact match for a user name. Allegedly, this is a feature not a bug.
@anphimimor I suspected. It’s too bad; would love to know the rationale, esp since user names vary so widely from server to server.
@savranly When it comes to post contents, the idea is that it prevents trolls from searching for people to target by post content. Users are probably hard to track down for the same reason.
