the outliar@TadRoberts is that a mast for sails? Boat has a motor or a engine? Like wood boats. They usually float.
Jason@TadRoberts it looks sort of like a lobster boat hull to me ... I may be way off though. Is it meant to be displacement speed with an outboard? Is that mast to set a riding sail as a stabilizer?
@jason Jason, Phil lived at Gloucester, Massachusetts pretty much his whole life and so the local influence is there. She's only 21' long and the 13 HP inboard diesel gives 6.5 knots maximum speed. the mast is meant to carry a big 200 sq ft lugsail.
