And McCarthy has no specific rationale for being Speaker.

I don't want to say it because they're lunatics, but the anti-McCarthy faction at least has a coherent argument for their stance.
The man has no principles. He will turn his back on anyone, including himself, so he is completely untrustworthy.
What is the pro-McCarthy argument (unless it's the same one)?
