The RE4 speedrunning community is up in arms. Seems the guy running the board decided anyone who isn't within a 8 minutes of the current WR (meaning their RTA is under an 1:30:00) doesn't deserve to be on the board.

That's some elitist bullshit right there. If you don't want to do admin work, don't sign up to do admin work.

@graygoogirl it's baffling how out of touch the mods seem to be with the general speedrunning community, so if you aren't good enough you don't deserve to be in the leaderboard? Why would you gatekeep a speedrunning leaderboard to the average casual runner? What a good way to make me not care at all about your speed game.

@sunglasses Yeah, their main excuse is that it's "too much work" to watch every run. Like for real no one is gonna cheat to be on the 112th spot. The whole thing reeks of elitism and people not wanting to do the admin work they signed up for.
