https://www.nitricity.co/ is in this space but IIRC they don't go directly to ammonia

The Haber-Bosch process can always be powered with "green" H2 from clean electricity powered electrolysis. Haber-Bosch will be tough to beat IMO.

@kirk Thanks. I am listening to a podcast episode about Nitricity on The Interchange. It would have been helpful if the host had asked them about how much water the process requires.

What I'm seeing online in this web search agrees with your comment about green hydrogen.
