@athyvaya @deacondave Humans aren’t meant to work this much! Trouble is, if we stop, we can’t have food. Or a decent dwelling. 🙄 How do we stop this?!
@AvidHeather @deacondave We collectively decide living in a shared hall with shared heat and shared chores and shared farming and time to spend with our “village” is sufficient. We stop participating in aspects of capitalism that are not stability and free time oriented. Fast fashion, disposable furniture, digital belongings, copyrighted seeds, luxury transport, business-oriented government. Goodness I’m tired already.
@athyvaya @deacondave but you all still have to spend a lot of your time at work, don’t you? That’s what my biggest problem is. I spend most of my waking hours at work for a fairly small paycheck and I just resent it so much.
@AvidHeather @deacondave Yeah. If I had a massive paycheck it would seem far less punitive. Or if I was free to leave when things are slow without a guilt trip. Flex hours would be awesome. I’d work my job when it’s dark and keep daylight for MY projects.
