"Doolin II" Your #painting today to start the new year is the second time I've painted the iconic strip of this west of #Ireland community - which also serves to remind me I'm well overdue a visit to County #Clare.

@eolai we stayed at Steve & Izzy’s B&B when we were in Doolin 😉👍🏼 we loved it there
@osweetea2 Just a ten-minute cycle from the scene of the painting. Or a half-hour walk or so. Good to hear you loved it there - thanks!
@eolai Fun fact. I house-sat that half-shown white one - a restaurant - on the right for a few months in the late 80s.
@WesternExposure That must have been a fun time as well as a fun fact. Winter or summer? I used to try and persuade my friends to go down in the depths of winter so we'd avoid the crowds.
@eolai Autumn. And it wasn't as crowded back then anyway.
@eolai Ohhh, I do really love your paintings. Do you exhibit, or sell, or have them all somewhere where I can gaze at them and dream of having one? I think I'm at the point now where I'd recognise your work even if it weren't you posting it up.
@Judeet88 Sorry, I forgot to answer. Thank you very much. Due to home life exhibitions these last 12 yrs are only online. Every December I have a sale of what paintings I've finished that year, typically 20-30 and usually finished in days of and before the sale, as it's only late in the year I get the chance to paint. That sale happens on my website and facebook (links in bio). My website is going through changes now so my print shop (link in bio) is the place with largest collection to look at
@eolai Thankyou kindly...I'm not on facebook but will follow up your website link.

@eolai

The pink house in the fore just captures my heart.

@fizzily It's a fairly iconic strip. Always found it irresistible.

@eolai

Love the pinky-lavender road and the gray-blue wall, too. The orange house. Charming.
