A #painting from a couple of years ago. "Wellington Quay, East" came out of my love of Dublin's quays and how much time I spend in town looking across the Liffey. For those of you unfamiliar with Ireland's capital city, the Ha'penny Bridge is just off picture to the left and the Millennium Bridge (also pedestrian) is off picture to the right. #MastoArt #MastoDaoine

I'm currently re-appraising everything I do online, not just social but every single thing. Not sure where it will end - possibly a lot of it will end up offline - but at the very least I want to end up feeling less connected to people with too much money.

A #painting for youse to have a look at. "Poulnabrone I". Because I like big stones. This was the first of several times I painted Ireland's iconic portal tomb in County Clare's Burren. It used to hang in the US and in Australia but now hangs in a good home in County Derry. #art #StandingStoneSunday

Although I tried really hard, I failed to finish paintings so there won't be any annual sale this December.

Sometimes paintings fall out of you, but other times they take a lot of coaxing over months and years - and I don't get enough time to paint.

"Doolough Boats" - a west or Ireland #painting from earlier this year while I try to finish paintings before the year ends. If you’re on the road from Killary Harbour up to Clew Bay, you’ll go through the valley of Delphi and then you hit Doolough. If you're on a bicycle you'll stop, enjoy the iconic view as you approach the jetty, then stop again to look back. It might look something like this. #MastoDaoine #MastoArt

"Arran Quay, Eastern End" Today's early #painting is a #Dublin one. Because much as I miss getting around to everywhere else in #Ireland, Dublin and its River Liffey is my home. Plus when I was young it was Arran Quay where I went to buy shoes. #Art

"Bantry Brendan" Your evening #painting today is another statue, (might need clicking to see fully). Of #Ireland's Saint Brendan 'The Navigator', a Kerryman in Bantry in West Cork facing out into the Atlantic Ocean and beyond to America. Technically he can only see Bantry Bay from there but I love Imogen Stuart's sculpture so much I painted it. I last saw it when #cycling past. Must return. #Art
