I drew a single #tarot card at midnight for the #NewYear. Feeling seen & buoyed by the #TarotDelToro. 2022 feels stretched out behind me like a decade masquerading as a year. I want to hope that 2023 will be kinder or at least less traumatic. I worry that #hope is perilous, but perhaps that's the point. Or part of it, at any rate.

I'm sitting in the basement with Gimlet fast asleep on my lap. 2023 is already safer & cozier for her, so I suppose we're off to a good start.
