I just finished An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us by Ed Yong, and it was as good as I hoped! Have you, like me, ever wanted to eat an episode of Planet Earth? Well, this book is delicious. It delighted my imagination to try to conceive of so many animals' unique ways of perceiving the world. I was touched by the earnest closing: light and noise pollution are about the only kind of pollution we could simply turn off, today. Ed Yong is a gem.
