Or more accurately, it started flashing an error code, and began puking water all over my floor when I tried to run diagnostics, thus I no longer wish to try to repair a 14 year old dishwasher. So friends, who has a #dishwasher they either particularly like or particularly hate?
Dan Wing@wesgeorge we like our Bosch after we switched to a detergent that works well with it; the environmentally-friendly detergent we used initially didn't work well with the Bosch for whatever reason.
One disadvantage of Bosch and Miele -- and a few other manufacturers -- is they filter the water, rather than having a small garbage disposal (which is the "American" style). You gotta clean that filter occasionally, like every month or more frequently if dishes are really dirty when put into the dishwasher.
