Our neighbor may be in a quiet game of chicken with our HOA and/or constable. They got a new basketball hoop for Xmas and set it up in the street in front of their drive. The HOA clearly forbids keeping hoops in your drive overnight, but this is in the street. And the constable doesn’t usually come by at night unless called. So until a constable happens by or someone complains, I think they’re just going to leave it there.
