Allgeier@rperez @Gargron Unfortunately, it's not just the noise. The animals smell the burning powder, they feel the shock waves, they see the flashing explosions. And their instinct tells them they have to get out of here. In my city, it's never been as violent as it is on this last day of the year. What's been blowing up here for hours ... it's so sick.

Cori@Gargron I live in a very rural area, literally back of beyond, and even here it's loud already. No idea why people still enjoy doing this, there are so many reasons why it's bad, we really should know better. The stray cats I'm feeding haven't been around today which means fear > hunger 😕
