Recommend spending some time today doing an end of year retrospective and next year look-ahead. This year I used this book, which takes some time but was rewarding

YearCompass | The booklet that helps close your year and plan the next one.

For everyone who doesn't have that much time but has SOME time:
do a year review answering a few questions (what caused me to grow, what accomplishments am I proud of, where did I make progress, what was missing, whom did I help, what am I most grateful for, what were the most fun times, what advice do I give myself for next year), and write a letter to yourself from the POV of the end of 2023, covering what happened the previous year

@skamille

"What do i need to fill out the booklet? A pen or a pencil, a few hours of uninterrupted focus, and an open and honest mind."

ok maybe when the kids are back in school =p

@reconbot yeah, it definitely takes some time. A shorter thing I have done: do a year review answering a few questions (what caused me to grow, what accomplishments am I proud of, where did I make progress, what was missing, whom did I help, what am I most grateful for, what were the most fun times, what advice do I give myself for next year), and write a letter to yourself from the POV of the end of 2023, covering what happened the previous year
@skamille I know others have pointed this out too, but LOL
@skamille this is fantastic, thanks for sharing!
