I hope I’ve made my high school social studies teachers proud by being glued to CSPAN all day today.
Sky above Woodinville was on fire this morning, worth rushing out of bed to put the drone in the air to get some pictures. Clear enough to see #MtRainer peeking out in the distance. #DJImini2 #dronephotography
My 14yo and I both woke up early due to a windstorm, couldn’t get back to sleep, and watched the fantastic #FacingNolan biopic. Watching someone who performed at that high of a level, for 27 years, is incredible. The film is a good nostalgic trip through the era of baseball I grew up watching. The film also dives into the critical role Ruth Ryan played, it’s great to see her getting the recognition when so many biopics put the spouse and family in the background.

While I'm incredibly happy to have found these 124 folks over here, they are almost exclusively my tech friends (who are awesome, amazing people btw :-) )

The accumulated mass of ~15 years of random interactions and follows is missing and I hope it can be rebuilt over time, because that's what made it so much richer than a mailing list or chat room.

Hero moment of vacation: getting the family devices on the unthrottled WiFi used by the smart TVs throughout the resort. Revolt avoided.
Apparently I’ve got one hot dog and one demon pup
Watching the #Artemis1 launch last night was amazing to see all of the science, ingenuity, and hard work come together. I loved learning how pieces and parts from the shuttle program were used in it https://www.fox13news.com/news/recycled-space-shuttle-engines-boosters-artemis-i-sls-rocket
These recycled space shuttle parts are now powering Artemis I to space

The Artemis I mission’s rocket engines and boosters have direct ties to Columbia, Challenger and each of the other shuttles, and even one of the original Mercury 7 astronauts.
