BREAKING NEWS: Greta Thunberg's response to Andrew Tate has been hung in the Louvre.

@gretathunberg Two responses on Twitter to this epic takedown caught my eye.

One from Charlotte Clymer (Twitter: @cmclymer) is funny -- "I had literally never heard of Andrew Tate until he was murdered by Greta Thunberg this morning."

And the other from Jonathan Barkan (Twitter: @JonathanBarkan) is insightful -- "Yes, we can cheer as Greta rips Tate apart. Still, let's also take a minute to recognize how disturbing it is that a toxic POS like Andrew Tate thinks provoking a fight with a 19-year-old autistic woman is a genuine display of 'manliness'. He's a bully, a grifter, and a scumbag."

@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg
IDK, I think my favorite was Himanshu Pareek — “Don’t call yourself a climate activist Greta, if you have to burn people like that.“

@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg remove the word "autistic" from the statement and I'm in.

This is neither relevant nor giving any other insight.

"a toxic POS like Andrew Tate thinks provoking a fight with a 19-year-old autistic woman is a genuine display of 'manliness'"

It fits hand-in-glove with the character of a rapist, however, which is one of charges leading to his arrest.

@breadandcircuses
I for one had never heard of him.
Now I know too much and still have no idea who he is.
@markhburton He leads a cult recruiting frustrated young man online into believing rape is the only possible interaction with woman. His followers are on the last step on the pipeline towards incel terror attacks.

@markhburton @KarlHeinzHasliP

INvoluntary CELibate

Not 100% sure on its origins

They're young men moulded to believe sex is a right, one that can be taken at force is necessary.

That the reason women don't want to be with them, isn't their repugnant beliefs but that society in being "unnaturally" shifted so they double down on their misogyny and worship oiks like Tate.

@markhburton @breadandcircuses

I had, but he's such a forgettable non-entity it took a full nights sleep to remember I'd seen him publicly "owned" like this before.

I'm sure in 3 months time his name will pop up again and i'll go "WHo?"

@breadandcircuses and people say the Left don’t have a sense of humour.

My Maserati does 185
I lost my license, now I don't drive

@todwest @breadandcircuses Greta Thunberg will be pleased to hear that 👍🏼
@breadandcircuses It’s interesting how his whole persona is built around things he “dares” to do and say, but apparently he’s threatened when young women dare to do and say things.
@breadandcircuses
From now on, instead of blocking trolls, I'm gonna send out the signal for Greta Thunberg. She's obviously a Marvel superhero.
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg "Andrew Tate III (born December 1, 1986) is an American-British media personality and former professional kickboxer." I think Greta got it on the nose #SDE for sure! 😂
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg I think that is a real email address that domain does exist
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg truely appropo, the content is far more brilliant than even the frame.

@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg

An 8.0L W-16? LOL
What is this, WWI?

Like seriously, put it in a biplane with some 25-octane gas.

That's some solidly retrograde engineering.

@breadandcircuses How do people keep falling for grifters like Tate... He's thriving of the audience and air here. If the extra attention leads to just one or two new followers for his extorionist-rape cult, he got exactly what he wanted. That's why it was the right decision to ban people like him permanently.

@KarlHeinzHasliP @breadandcircuses
Agreed, but now that he's back ridicule is the best thing that can happen to him. He has a big influence with teenage boys, and the more adults aware of him and able to counter his bile, the better.

@ClaireCopperman @breadandcircuses Mhm, it's complicated. I honestly think he is so dangerous that death silence is preferable - especially from someone like Greta who has massive hate-follower counts already.
Tate engaging with her is a mass shooting at a gender-climate-nexus event in the making. He is about as dangerous as an ISIS recruiter.

@KarlHeinzHasliP @breadandcircuses
I see your point, and I do fear for Greta, but I think she's done the right thing. One response which has seen him made the laughing stock of the world and then nothing else. If she'd kept quiet it wouldn't have stopped him baiting her.

Greta is used to managing all the hate and does so really well. I loathe the fact that it's necessary, but unfortunately the fossil fuel lobby has deep pockets.

Idk, in my book that's not how attention seeking grifters work. Same reason why deplatforming them in the first place was a good thing.

Any name recognition is good name recognition for them. He only has use for already heavily radicalized guys, he's stage three of the Joe Rogan - Jordan Peterson - Tate - Terrorattack pipeline. Public opinion is irrelevant at that stage, he is targeting a small audience of radicalized individuals.

Obviously, not gonna tell Greta what to do, but I'd be surprised if she knew just how bad Tate really is.
I do dig the "now the parents of the targeted boys have heard the name" - But I don't see a theory of change from there to a prevented Terrorattack.

@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg I think it should be hung at the Tate Gallery, though.

@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg
I wonder what it is about a strong, intelligent, eloquent and funny young woman like Greta Thunberg that threatens a misogynist like Tate? 🤔

@gretathunberg is AMAZING. For anyone surprised at her wit, have a look at her interview with Russell Howard a few weeks back - she's wonderfully funny and sharp, and all in her second language:

@ClaireCopperman @breadandcircuses @gretathunberg
There's also an excellent interview with Nihal Arthanaike - available on BBC Sounds. She's as sharp as a knife.
@ClaireCopperman @breadandcircuses @gretathunberg Brilliant….love the section about old/middle-aged white men in powerful positions being so afraid of children stating facts…
@pallsopp42 @breadandcircuses @gretathunberg
Isn't it great? She absolutely nails it. Probably the most relaxed I've seen her, but her intelligence and passion shine through, as does her sense of fun.
@ClaireCopperman @breadandcircuses @gretathunberg it was great to see Greta as Greta…I love that she turns whining old farts into memes…her feet are firmly planted in reality…..imagine if most people in elected offices had as much talent, insight & humanity as Greta…I dream on!
@pallsopp42
It's seeing young people like Greta that gives me hope.
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg When you come at the Queen, you best not miss.
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg
She’s all grown up now and taking no shit.
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg When someone is actually confident, they don't have to brag about what they have. Who wants to be with a guy who has to run down a list of things he owns in order to impress you? Tate seems like the sort of person that needs another to tell him how beautiful he is. Maybe next he'll tell us all about his skincare routine.
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg he’s not clever but he can lift heavy weights…,,,,
@breadandcircuses @gretathunberg there are times i really want to go back to Twitter and respond to these #SmallDickEnergy men with a simple Muahahaha tweet. But the force is strong in me.
