I can tell you that from two days in an emergency department in both the waiting area and back end that people are realizing our healthcare is broken in Ontario. I live in a very Conservative area and when I listened to people complaining they were all blaming Doug Ford and they were all spitting mad. I don’t think he can privatize without a fight. People are angry. The more people seeing front lane medical care the angrier they will get. No one blamed the docs or nurses. #onpoli #dougford

It's not a surprise that Ontarians have been slow to notice the scope of change up until now.

Ford has been so desperate to keep his privitization mandates secret, he’s waged a costly legal battle to prevent their release.

We taxpayers are literally footing the legal bill to be kept in the dark about this govt's intentions.

And, not just in healthcare.

@gemelliz people are always slow to realize until it actually means they suffer. And everyone I heard complaining was talking about how great the doctors and nurses were and how they needed more help. Everyone was super nice to the staff too which was surprising to me with wait times. But like old guys who were like I liked Dougie but he’s f@cked this up and has to go, was music to me ears. #repeal124

Those 'old guys' are likely generational voters who have uncritically voted for the same party for decades.

They've been hoodwinked and are furious now they've realized the old Progressive Conservative Party of Premier John Robarts or Premier Bill Davis is NOT the same party as
'Premier Ford*NotA*Nation'

@gemelliz @Melanie76Nicole Every Senior I know made it a priority to get out and vote…and none of us voted for Dougie. On the other hand, I have a 50 year old daughter who thinks that the Cons are the Party of the “upwardly mobile,” and she still won’t open her eyes to the fact that they (Cons) are hell-bent on decimating our healthcare and education systems.
