Just spent my entire morning creating a #StoryGraph account and manually inputting all the books I've read in the last 5 years. Never used a book app before, interested to see if I find it useful. 🤔 #bookstodon

@buffyleigh

What were your favorites from the list? Maybe we could get a top 3 or top 5?

@DXMacGuffin Ooo! Okay, top 5 of last 5 years:
#MarciaDouglas, The Marvellous Equations of the Dread
#ItaloCalvino, If on a winter’s night a traveler
#ReneeGladman, Ravicka series (this is 4 books, but they're all super short)
#AzareenVanDerVlietOloomi, Call Me Zebra
#DionneBrand, The Blue Clerk
@buffyleigh On the author's side of StoryGraph, I like it. You're able to email #StoryGraph & get content warnings listed on your books, also the MOODS, which was fun to think on when I submitted my poetry book info. #bookstodon @bookstodon
@TC221Bee Yeah I find the moods part of the stats quite interesting, definitely accurate! In the last 5 years, 50% of what I've read is 'reflective' or 'challenging', and another 25% is 'adventurous', 'informative', or 'emotional'. Least common moods are 'hopeful' and 'inspiring', lol. Basically, my read books = my personality in a nutshell.
@buffyleigh but did you used notebook or something like that?
@m4lu I just kept a list going on a page of my blog. Only started doing that in 2017 though, so no record of my reading before that 😕
@buffyleigh I’m manually inputting mine too! It’s a right chore but fun to look over everything I’ve read.
