Knitting folks: am interested in learning steeking. I have some excellent books including EZ _Knitting without tears and _Kitting workshop_, plus Stanley's _Handknitter's handbook_, and some beautiful patterns.
Am looking for YT recs or illustrated articles to speed my pickup along with a sample piece to work, for ex. Suggestions?

Steeking is technique used to safely and securely cut your knitting to create holes where you want them. It is frequently used with complex colorwork sweaters, because it is easier and faster to knit colorwork in the round. It can be scary to steek a big sweater, so I created this scaled-down steeking project to help knitters try out the technique fearlessly.

@kimkarma66 oooh thank you. I've so far only seen instructions w stitching down by machine, no crochet. Interesting options.
