If your question includes what is clearly your opinion of the correct answer, you’re not asking a question.

Oh, no. I think I got blocked by @rands for this reply. (He posted about how questions that obviously imply a certain preferred answer are not real questions, but maybe he didn’t get my joke—or maybe he just thought it was dumb, which is fair.) If it ever comes up in conversation with him, please tell him I apologize for the confusion.
@rands You might be right. I think however if you start by posing “This is my position” convince me otherwise, and be open to become convinced. Then it can be a good discussion. Of course you have to be open to change your opinion for this to be good.
