@myth I have debated getting that to make clothing for Second Life and other storefronts. I just dislike the subscription model. But might try it regardless and see. Obviously if I make munny using it I can afford the sub lol

I'm interesting in doing clothing for #vrchat avatar's, so that's how I'll justify the spend to myself. :) Either way it's another useful skill to learn!
@myth I know little of VRChat. Iv tried it a few times but I lack VR for PC. I only have PSVR lol.

Does VRChat have attachment points for Avatars now or do you need to modify in unity for each outfit still?
@Zodira It's all still Unity based. The easiest time being when clothes are made for a specific base so that you can just align on the bones. Even then there is quite often additional work to deal with penetrations, etc.

Though in my search for potential alternatives to Marvelous I found brief mention of part of their terms disallowing resale of the clothing itself. I cant seem to find their terms on their site to actually confirm though.
@myth Glanced through them. They dont seem to make mention regarding what you may or maynot do with what you create with the software other than saying the provided avatar may not be redistributed.
Could be this isint the terms i'm looking for or they were modified since that comment I read. Possible as the comment is 4 years old.
Figure I will contact them just incase when I get around to buying clothing software.
@myth Heh so few read the terms of the software they use. I partly think its not the terms I need considering it makes no mention of how the products created may be used. Unless I glanced over it which is possible.

@myth Ah okay. Without seeing the agreement itself and based on this I gather then its fine as long as your subscription is still active and you're still a one person show if using a personal license.
