Decided to make some artwork based on a book I'm currently writing ^.^
A tad of 3D and 2D

*Opens Substance Painter* This UI sucks! Wait...Actually it makes good sense!

*Opens Substance Designer and starts hearing boss music.* Wait it has Latin lyrics!

Id love suggestions on fun ways to learn these programs. Finally starting to learn them but there is so many tutorials! Any good ones for those of us who like to trial and error our way around things?

The game dev team im in is mainly 3 people including myself. I'm the 3D modeler of the group. Im curious if anyone has some good blender and mainly Unreal Engine tutorials or tips they might suggest. I have experience with blender but it ever hurts to learn again.
Currently we are about to mess about in Unreal to learn the engine before trying our first game.

Saturday was fun. Ended up in the ER (Im fine now) and also me and a few friends finally announced we're starting a game company!

We're taking it slow. We have some basic ideas on a game but we're spending 2023 just messing around in UE to learn it so we better know going in what we're doing

Also most of our games will most likely be horror.

Anyone have any tips and tricks for both the legal process of starting a game company as well as best structure methods, organizing the project, and general tips and tricks. Feel free to comment anything regarding it.

Me and a couple friends have decided we want to make indie games together.

Also if i'm asking the wrong questions please let me know ^.^

The urge to buy Substance 3D Modeler is strong. AUGH!

Twitter has gotten real janky today in regards to account switching.

Likes to randomly log me out when switching between accounts now.

Twitter has made some weird changes lately that keeps pushing me away from it.
One of the biggest oddly is seeing Views for each tweet on the timeline. Im used to seeing comment count not view count on the far left so kept throwing me off badly. So I figured out how to just block the views indicator XD
I swear half of gamedev is optimization.
Bad me for making so much technical debt XD

My vr game has occasional rain and lightning and I got to thinking. I dont want anyone with epilepsy to be harmed by this so I plan to add an option to disable the lightning.

Im curious of other ways I could make the game accessible to as many people as possible; and/Or if there are ways to include the lighting in a safer way.

Time to hunt for resources.
