My Bambu Lab X1C arrives tomorrow 🤗

#3Dprinting and making physical things instead of software things during 2020 lockdowns was one of the happiest times in my life, ever.

Haven’t printed for over a year now. Very excited 😁

Update: my printer actually sat in LA for over a week and finally left yesterday.

Won’t receive it for another week now 🫠

It has arrived.

This is the Apple of #3Dprinting.

The packaging, setup experience and first print have all been perfection.

@kylejs
Did you print a #benchy yet? #3DPrinting

@Colone1Sanders7 I went straight for something I’d use instead.

I can’t stand a pile of prints that are useless, so I try to limit calibration leftovers. I’ve actually never printed a benchy 😅

Just printed a toothpaste tube roller. I can’t believe how high the quality is at zero setup effort and tremendous print speed. It’s honestly one of the biggest wow moments I’ve had for a while with a product.

@kylejs
Wow that does look high quality, no need for a benchy with that setup!

I'll have to look more into the X1C

@Colone1Sanders7 @kylejs ...I only wanted to print a benchy because someone starwars'ed one. :D BTW, the textured plate on the X1 is a must for me - if you hadn't already upgraded.

@ChrisPirillo @Colone1Sanders7

I just did my first print on the PEI sheet. Such a pleasure to use!

And look at this quality!

@kylejs @Colone1Sanders7 ...don't ever be afraid to drop into "silent" mode with smaller parts that may not be as smooth as you'd like.
