We are all heart-eyed! 😍 #Browsers
Here's a great video from TechGumbo that can be helpful if you are still thinking about it. ⬇️

@Ypsilenna @BradJFAK first you have to create an “alias” on your new account. You have to tell the instance where your new account is located that you want the data of your older account to be moved.
That you find at migrating FROM another account, in settings. There you type your old handle, and only then you put your NEW handle on your OLD account.
Yeah, it’s confusing 😅
@rireveloba @Ypsilenna @BradJFAK
Ypsilenna had it right. There was no need to add the server name at the end. The user name alone worked! Thank you!
@Bradley_JF @Ypsilenna @BradJFAK that’s weird… just yesterday I had to include the instance name as well for it to work.
It’s true that is possible to migrate accounts on the fedi but honestly is quite confusing, and there are not really clear guides
@Vivaldi I've switched from Opera to which I've jumpshipped from Chrome which I got when I got dissatisfied with Firefox.
Opera 12 was my favorite in terms of customization but later - from what I remember - they dropped their own engine and picked Chromium engine. And then all the customization that I liked disappeared...
And a few years later I've came across Vivaldi and I've been using it since then.

@Vivaldi Started using Vivaldi under Windows Vista. Now using Vivaldi under Debian 🐧.
and
@Vivaldi is my #1 browser for personal use 😍
I wish use it for work, but there are few bugs in Vivaldi's DevTools stopping me
We are actively working towards it. No ETA to share yet, but it's only coming closer.
