@thierryratsiz It is funny to observe how the author is trying to frame anything about mastodon in financial numbers. As if they mattered 😂 Granted, it's the FT, but some people are clearly unable to see beyond their walls of ideology.
All in all, the article author does not seem to understand what they are writing about.
Mastodon is proof that cooperation can trump corporation. (sorry for the pun, will show myself out...)

@thierryratsiz The ArsTechnica article was good, but the comment about Mastodon becoming an overflow platform for #Twitter seemed bizarre. I switched to #Mastodon by choice, not by overflow, and I'm not going back. That's truth, not #ScienceFiction. #SciFi

This article is a good reminder to help support #Mastodon itself as well as your local instance dev. Investors have offered hundreds of thousands, yet Eugene, it's founder, earns less than 29k euros a year.

Agood time to remind people of the $2 challenge! (Ie pledging to give $2 a month, or a variant of it, to both your local instance admin and Mastodon/your favorite fediverse app founder, each month)
