I hear a lot of White people in Britain saying that UK doesn’t have the kind of racism that America has. They might want to talk with Black and Brown Britons before making that determination.

@Deglassco it’s definitely prevalent here. It’s a daily assault of micro aggressions, covert and overt racism on a daily. The racist here just think they’re smart by keeping it polite.

@SamYoung841 I used to say that it was better for racists to show their hand but after Trump, I’m not so sure that’s a good thing.

@Deglassco the problem was he was the President of the US. That legitimised racism in a way that Bob down the road just couldn’t on his own.
