reposting a screen grab of your meta post here because that makes it a full circle meta toot...
@enmodo @rodhilton right on! 🤓🤭
AND YET—curiously, never makes it over to (uppercase) Meta.
@apardoe @enmodo @rodhilton
aha—yes, you're correct.
i was thinking big daddy FB, although i'm sure it's there too.
@mazal @rodhilton I deleted my FB account 4 years ago - if it wasn't for occasional leaks from that place - I'll call it Hawking radiation - it might as well be a black hole to me.
I will await the next few financial reports from Metabook (or is it Faceverse?) with interest. Maybe the Twitter implosion will be good for them as advertisers have one less place to worry about? With the couple of billion users (claimed) they have a few million here won't be a big hit, not until it is 100x.
@enmodo @rodhilton "Hawking radiation" 😂 nice.
yeah.. haven't deleted my account. but also rarely, hardly never go there. when FB page shows up in google search, i blanch and avoid link at all costs—unless desperate. a terrible horrible morass, IF i need to see something, i grab info and RUN!
the worst ux/ui designed of the platforms. 😬
@rodhilton unfortunately you seem to have broken Mastodon. Try as I might I can't load the replies to your post. A few hundred isn't much in the global scheme of things. What happens when going viral here means thousands of replies and millions of likes?
FWIW via the web interface the replies do load eventually. But via my Android client it times out after about 10 seconds. So could be a client issue or just an API usage issue.
@rodhilton
One such tweet was pointed out to me today. Maybe it's the same one, idk.
This one is getting some great Like and RT numbers in this tweet. (3,100+ Likes, 1,000+ RTs) Congratulations!

“I have been saying this for a while now. Elon Musk isn’t a genius but a Con Artist. He’s managed to fool many but eventually those who get it, know he is a pathological liar. Just read my pinned thread. @rodhilton has summed it up perfectly as how one can easily fall for his lies”
@rodhilton Here's a bizarre one. I've just seen your post, screen-shotted, posted on #Twitter, and then _the Twitter post_ hyperlinked to in a #FediVerse post.
... in an account where I don't have "twitter.com" in my timeline filters. (-:
