admin@annabae It's not as intimidating as it looks. Think of it like Twitter, but you have two main timelines.
Local is everyone who is on this server and Federated is everyone posting on Mastodon from accounts across the world on any Mastodon server.
Hopefully (on our server, at least) we'll get more and more of the Wayne State community on our server over time and your local feed will be comprised of people from your WSU world.
