@wonderofscience
Wow! How beautifully amazing. Thanks for posting.๐Ÿ’ซ
@wonderofscience The corona of the sunlight refracting through the atmosphere was incredibly striking. Thanks for sharing this
@wonderofscience Always amazing to witness this! And, good to see no flat-earther comments here, unlike typically seen over at the blue bird.
@wonderofscience That was cool and beautiful. But could someone explain some of things that could be seen? What were the flashing white (white surrounded by blue) lights/blobs at one point? And why was the corona (?) green and then orange?
@wonderofscience this is amazing. Is anyone else struck by the amount of light pollution visible? See the reflection of light in upper atmosphere. This is why we donโ€™t see the stars at night any more unless we go to the wilderness. Light pollution is avoidable.
@golila @wonderofscience Iโ€™m no scientist, but Iโ€™m pretty sure what youโ€™re seeing there is not light pollution from Earthโ€™s surface.
@wonderofscience This is breathtaking to a degree that I actually find hard to process. Just wow.
@wonderofscience Sagan said it best: We are made of stars

@wonderofscience

The brief sparks of light are people taking flash photographs of the sky, right?

Just kidding. ๐Ÿ˜‹

@wonderofscience

@wonderofscience unbelievably beautiful and moving. Is that glowing line our atmosphere? Ever felt vulnerable?
