The full blade set for the Vestas 15 MW prototype offshore wind turbine has arrived to Østerild National Test Centre in Denmark where they will be installed.
[This one blade is longer than Utrecht's Dom tower, my own point of reference ;)]

@Sustainable2050 There's an impressive video about the transport of a slightly smaller blade through the tunnels, towns, and roundabouts of Madeira. The final leg of the journey is up to the mountain plateau of Paul da Serra where there now is quite a collection of wind turbines.

(I am in Madeira every few months and travel part of the route taken here quite often)
