Finding people on here is really hard, am I missing some trick?

I use debirdify every now and then to double check if anyone else has come over.

@whatleydude @buffalogiu You can from a logged-out state on the web, as opposed to some native app.

But yeah no completely seamless answer to that at the moment. Serendipity and determination required, but also following/boosting folks a bit more speculatively than at the other place.

@whatleydude @buffalogiu Related: here's the thing that took time for me to get my head around... when you're looking at replies to a post, you only see ones from instances that your instance knows about. So you may not see replies from folks outside your regular crowd.
@mo @whatleydude hmmm I did not know that. Lots to figure it out it seems... good thing I'm a procrastinator and would rather go down a rabbit hole here than do other more important things
