Donald Trump selling $99 digital trading cards featuring images of himself as a superhero tells you all you need to know about Trump — and about NFTs.
@rbreich good grief, narcissm on full display
@rbreich Funny. I wonder how many people who bought these are expecting actual cards in the mail.
@Hal_Brown @rbreich I hear some people who bought the cards have no idea how to get to them.
@[email protected] I wonder that too. I also wonder how many Trump fans would be able to print them. Currently, I'm doing research for a friend who, though he owns a Mac computer and a non-working printer, he has no concept of "printer drivers."
@eL_ABC The photo with the close-up of the flight suit buckle, reminds me of an online picture of a Trump fan who had given a Zoom Interview with a faux bookcase behind her. The bookcase was not digital, exactly. More of a shower curtain, a corner of which was a dead giveaway. It was someone else who appointed this out to me.
@rbreich Yep, “there’s a sucker born every minute.”
@rbreich
If only he'd asked people buy bridges he needed to sell.
@rbreich and here’s the newest one! Going for at least 10-20….years that is…
@rbreich and his dumb ass followers.
@rbreich I heard that they are not even NFT, but just Photoshop JPEGs. Not sure if that is correct?
Makes no difference to how stupid Trump or NFTs are 😋
@ptapoo @rbreich Yes and no. NFTs are just image files but there’s a record that says someone specifically (or rather a specific wallet ID) “owns” that particular file that exists at a particular address. So I can go through the collection and re-post it, I don’t “own” the image.
@rbreich reminds me of Zaphod Beeblebrox signing photos of himself.
@rbreich It tells me all I need to know about real cash and a washing machine
@rbreich and, because grifters gotta grift, they're made from copywritten photos they didn't buy the rights for.
He takes the "art" out of con artist.
@rbreich He’s also selling $500.00 gift bags. Constant grifting by Trump.
@rbreich I got the best Donald Trump trading card, It'd take whole socking full of of coal for me to give this up!
@rbreich plagiarized bodies and costumes on these so called nfts
@rbreich Commodities Brokers love getting lumps of coal
@rbreich Money laundering in real time.
@rbreich Don't blame the canvas if you don't like the painting.
@rbreich Especially since the art that was photoshopped was stolen stock footage that they erased the watermarks on.
@rbreich NFT. No friggin tax. No funds traceable. Neo fascist trading.
