#Musk removed the #ThereIsHelp prompt on #Twitter this week. This prompt helped users get support on issues like #suicideprevention and #mentalhealth, #HIV, #vaccines, child sexual exploitation, #COVID-19, gender-based violence. My interview just out in #Reuters:

The pressure worked, folks! Update: #ThereIsHelp has been reinstated.

@eirliani Fascists hate mutual aid.
@SocialistStan @eirliani Well, not to be that person who comes in with "but"... But in the UK at least, the far right is getting quite good at going into communities and setting up mutual aid-like projects as part of their recruitment. 😭
@Keduzi @eirliani That would be completely unheard of in the US, here the only way they interface with the community is though occasional "patrols" that go out and harass people. How is the left in the UK dealing with it?
@Keduzi @SocialistStan Ugh. Thanks for letting us know, Heather.
@eirliani @SocialistStan Not sure what they are doing, tbh.The other thing is that the right in the US does have quite a strong community network: summer camps, helping folks who need meals after getting out of the hospital etc. Through churches. So maybe we would define mutual aid as centring people marginalised by society? Targeted by society for destruction? Something like that??
