Auf Island wird die bislang größte Anlage zur Entfernung von CO2 aus der Atmosphäre gebaut. Sie soll 36.000 Tonnen CO2 aus der Luft holen. Also etwa ein Millionstel der jährlichen Emissionen.

@rahmstorf Wie wahrscheinlich ist es also, dass wir die CO2e halbwegs in mehreren Jahrzehnten aus der Atmosphäre kriegen, ohne dass die Erwärmung eintritt, die James Hansen in seinem aktuellsten Paper beschreibt?
