@rodhilton I’ve been wondering about that possibility too. After all, if he makes such horribly bad decisions at Twitter, why would we expect him to make better decisions at Tesla?! 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, it’s hard to understand how either Tesla or SpaceX have done so well after witnessing his management “techniques” in public, as it were.

@ZeKik @rodhilton the common belief is that at those companies, there is a management buffer between him and the company that makes sure his stupidity doesn't actually hurt anything too badly. At Twitter, he just has yes men, so the buffer isn't there, and we're seeing the result.

@rodhilton I kinda hope somebody bothers to save the good parts of Tesla and make sure others can use'em. Double that for SpaceX; I want somebody to grab that, tell Gwen Shotwell to carry on, and leave her alone... the birdsite can crater for all I care, though. May the victims find their people again easily.
