Adam FieldsAnother thing I just noticed about mastodon which I don't love is that if you view a post on another instance you're not logged into, it doesn't reflect your preferences. Understandable, but this feels like a hard problem that needs solving in an elegant way.

@karlbecker yes, with an app it’s fine, I’m talking about when I open a link in a browser.
@fields yeah, I’ve been almost exclusively using it on my phone, so I hadn’t thought about it much.
I suppose there will one day be an aggregator web app that will pull in toots and display it with your own preferences?
