We're in this weird limbo where it seems uncertain if Mastodon is really going to take off.

Plenty of folks have started accounts, but even the most hardcore "everyone needs to move to Mastodon now!" evangelists still seem quite active on Twitter.

Not sure how a long-term mass migration is really feasible until this trend changes.

@mikeev I don’t find much valuable interaction on the old bird site, but do see a lot of project and announcement automated accounts still posting there. The posts here are much more personal and interactive and I think that’s partly the result of the design decisions for how posts are managed. To get interaction here, you have to actually interact. I post all new material here only as a matter of choice.
