I'm beginning to realize that #sewing is primarily a cycle of rearranging small pieces of fabric, pinning, and waiting for the iron to heat up... and only a very small amount of time is actually spent stitching those pieces of fabric together.

@emery Oh yes. Preparation often takes longer than sewing.
@Freyalyn The overall project takes much less time than it would if I knitted it though! (Not that one should knit a mask for anything other than warmth, but today I've been sewing little zipper bags.)

@emery Things like that are very satisfying to make, aren't they.

My sewing machine (and loom) are upstairs in an unheated room, so unusable until the weather gets warmer.
