@randfish with the new impression count on Twitter, I think we can start to validate that reach stat and compare different accounts.
@ronniehiggins except the "impressions" on Twitter counts any screen where your tweet was present. I.e. They're inflating to make it look better than it is. An engagement (like, RT, or reply) is still the way to measure apples to apples.

Got invited to meeting by Head of Ecom at global brand. He’s never engaged with any of my content and yet referenced several posts.

I’ll take the invitation to pitch over likes and RTs any day.

@jvt @ronniehiggins Definitely not saying none of those impressions are real, just that for every impression Twitter counts, there's probably only 1/10th, 1/50th, maybe 1/100th (or less) of those that are truly people who saw and stopped to consume your tweet.
