@dl I got it a few months ago, for the first time- I've always worn my N95, and gotten boosted. Just got the Bivalent booster 3 weeks ago too.
I have yet to recover my energy to the same level as before I got it :/
@linkeddev @dl I always mask. I caught it back in July. Fully boosted. But my one lapse was I spent 30 seconds with my head poked out of my door into the hallway of my apartment building without a mask. Literally my only exposure.
And I remember thinking at the time that it was foolish but hopefully I'll be okay. Three days later I felt like death and tested positive.
@dl Back in May. Exposure at a long-term care facility because family stuff. It was mild for me *in the moment*, and I don't believe it won't have long-term consequences. I don't want to be reinfected. Ever.
Yes, I was vaccinated. I think it kept my case mild *in the moment*. I keep my vaccinations updated, too. Still: I don't want reinfection. And I don't want to pass it on to others either.
@dl I picked it up less than a week after getting my bivalent booster in September.
It was thankfully super mild, certainly thanks to the booster. They're not perfect, but they're better than nothing!
@dl If I might propose a followup poll: "Of the people who have only had Covid-19 once, when did you first contract it?"
I suspect the *vast* majority of your "once"s are this year, in the last 6 months, because that's when the vaccine-evading variant appeared.
