Wonder if we’ll see a time where #streamers / #ContentCreators from #Twitch / #YouTube / other platforms all recognize the value of a #mastodon account. Already seeing some people getting uncomfortable with the direction #twitter is headed. If they’re really gonna bury non-subscribers’ posts, won’t it lose all purpose for people unwilling/unable to pay? #videogames #gaming
Hein Ragas@revealingtoomuch Twitch could start their own Mastodon server, and capture the social media interactions of their streamers. They already have the infrastructure and the moderation.
Not that I would be happy if they'd do it, but it would make business sense.
