Mastodon servers don't pay for themselves. Society servers are a natural way to verify users.

@rlmcelreath someone just suggested that MPI should set up its own mastodon instance, as servers are not free and self maintaining. I thought you might like that idea, … but would never want to be the center of attention. Hope all is gut!
