This framing from Axios is absolutely maddening:

No, it's anti-democratic. Seeing everything as part of a left-right binary is a form of brain rot.

@JoshuaHolland yes, it would be. This particular thing though? It's definitely an attack on what the right wing sees as "the left."

It cannot be repeated enough that what right wing folks call "leftist" includes everything Eisenhower and Rockefeller ever ran on.

They were Center-Right pragmatic public servants.
