I still maintain you’re crazy if you don’t have a good quality screen protector though. I could handle the back being shattered to pieces, but a micro scratch on my screen would end me
particles@christianselig I dropped my iPhone 14 Pro caseless, face down on concrete (no screen protector) and the edges took more damage than the screen. Zero micro-scratches that I can see.
Not that I'm suggesting you do this, of course, but...
@particles It's not the falls that get you, putting it in your pocket and a single particle of something abrasive got in there, and then pulling it out you get micro scratches
@christianselig I'm aware of this risk -- I've been doing this since the iPhone XS and haven't experienced micro-scratches on anything after the 12 series!
