#Durchsuchungen nach Abmahnwelle wegen „#GoogleFonts“-Nutzung

In einem Verfahren gegen einen 53‑jährigen #Rechtsanwalt mit Kanzleisitz in Berlin und dessen 41‑jährigen Mandanten, dem angeblichen Repräsentanten einer „IG Datenschutz“, wurden heute wegen des Verdachts des (teils) versuchten #Abmahnbetruges und der (versuchten) #Erpressung in mindestens 2.418 Fällen durch die Polizei im Auftrag der Staatsanwaltschaft Berlin Durchsuchungsbeschlüsse vollstreckt.

@rigelianart @AnonNewsDE You know that, I know that. But the majority of small website operators have no idea that there are more privacy-friendly alternatives to Maps or ReCaptcha. Don't get me wrong, I see Google as having a responsibility to provide information.

As much I would love to put Google et al. on a leash, it is after all a question of individual service quality, is it not?

I mean – does the Internet/Humanity really need another million John/Jane Doe influencers setting up WordPress HPs in few minutes just to publish more SEO'ed rubbish mined with boobs, cereal bowls and oh-so-cuuuute cat vids to get Google et al. even more data?
