So #SteveBarclay has said (in the press) that striking #NHS staff have made a 'conscious choice' to inflict harm on patients.... this is all a bit rich, since #Tory policy for at least a decade has been a 'conscious choice' to defund the NHS & thereby 'encourage' the use of private #healthcare.

If the strikers *have* made a conscious choice its to call a halt to the bullish*t & damage successive Tory Health Ministers have visited upon the NHS!

@ChrisMayLA6 #SupportTheStrikes I think the best way to do this is to literally stop buying things and/or do a go-slow or strike at your place of work in support, or organise a mass cash withdrawal at some local bank or Building society...money talks loudest.
@ChrisMayLA6
I agree. The Tories have deliberately done this. They have made the position of NHS workers untenable so that they can use the strikes as another reason for privitisation. All Unions in all sectors need to support the NHS now, if they don't, the end of the NHS won't be long away.

@ChrisMayLA6 Doesn't Steve Barclay's involvement in the Health Service extend to understanding the difference between a cause and symptom?

Strikes are symptoms of a failing elsewhere.

@ChrisMayLA6 Tories have ignored the crisis in accident and emergency for years
