enmodo ⚛️ 🧬 🇺🇦 🍉@DrLygo I never realized there was anything so pointy there. My brother travelled Skye by bike in his youth - if I recall there's not a single tree growing there, or maybe just one? Or perhaps that's just an apocryphal tale?
@enmodo Yeah, there are lots of pointy bits on Skye actually - several like this, created by massive landslips on the Trotternish Peninsula, and the Black Cuillins are pretty pointy!
And apocryphal tale I think! I totally get why you ask about trees - parts of Skye seem to have very few. But there are several areas of woodland and some pine forestry too I believe. I’ve only scratched the surface there and need to go and explore more! It’s so varied and so very beautiful.
