This is one of those "clarifying makes it worse" statements. She's correct, we DON'T have "the risk of border closures, gathering limits, cancellations of large-scale events" ... because the Government has literally given up all those tools.

"With COVID cases surging and more people in hospitals already stretched to breaking point, New Zealanders may have CERTAINTY in the fact we will do NOTHING about it" is not ... a great message
