Centrelink requires that you update your income and assets within 2 weeks of a significant change. I did that 8 weeks ago. It still hasn't been "approved". Meanwhile my account is locked. So if I have another update then I can only do that by phoning in. Then while I wait on the phone for an hour they will keep repeating how easy it is do do updates online. I'm pretty sure that all of these govt call centres are seriously understaffed at the moment. SERCO have the biggest contracts for both Centrelink & the ATO. They make huge profits while paying their call centre staff minimum wage. #Centrelink #ServicesAustralia

I had my disability support pension assessed within 5 days, even got a call on a Sunday arvo at 4pm
